Another Stop Motion Example

The title sequence for Russel Howards new show is a cut out stop motion sequence. The way the main subject (russel) is very crudely cut out and the animation is not very smooth - i like this. I also like the way the camera continuously follows the subject through multiple "screens" worth of content, with no cuts between shots. This is similar to the series of unfortunate events sequence, only with less depth (as in - Series of unfortunate events the characters move in more of a 3D space).

These techniques are ideal for what i have in mind for my video - i like the idea of cut out animation, this would add to the hand made feel a lot, coupled with a contrasting textured background i think the overall effect would be successful.
